Hello I’m Emma

I run painting and wine events in English.… and they’re for absolutely everyone. You don’t need experience, talent or a plan. The idea is simple: relax, get creative, meet new people and, most importantly, have fun.

Alongside my public events, I also host private groups, which are perfect for birthday celebrations, hen parties, team-building sessions or open house events. Everything is taken care of so you just have to turn up, enjoy the process (and surprise yourself with what you make!)..

I also work with schools and after-school programmes throughout the school year, and I run Saturday Art for Kids workshops, as well as a summer art and dance camp every July.

Working with children has always been a huge part of what I do giving them the freedom, confidence, and joy that comes from making without pressure.

From January 2026, you’ll find me at Emma’s Art Room, my new atelier at Getreidemarkt 3/10B, 1060 Vienna. This is where I paint, catch up on admin, host workshops and events, and welcome people into a colourful, unpretentious space made for creativity. You’re very welcome to take a look at my portfolio and see what I’ve been working on.

Originally, I’m from the Isle of Man, and I came to Vienna in 2003 for a job in textile design. Alongside my design work, I taught children English and in 2009 I decided to combine my two passions: art and teaching. That’s how Emma’s Art Room was born.

Since then, it’s grown into something I’m incredibly proud of: a place where people of all ages can relax, experiment and enjoy the simple pleasure of making something with their hands.
